Kellen hires land director from Bellway

Laura Head has joined the housebuilder as Mark Calvert’s replacement.

Head, who has spent the last seven years at Bellway, has joined Kellen Homes as land director filling the void left by Calvert who departed for Anwyl earlier this year.

Kellen, whose majority shareholder is Renaker founder Daren Whitaker, is among the more active SME housebuilders in the North West currently.

Its developments include 200 homes at Mirrlees Fields in Stockport, 498 in Newton Heath, and 219 in Tyldesley.

With Head in position, Kellen is targeting further growth.
