Bellway seals deal for 11-acre Leigh plot

As well as exchanging contracts on the land purchase from Moss Bank Nurseries, the housebuilder has planning permission to develop 146 properties on the site off Hooten Lane.

The Moss Bank Garden development will be made up of two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, featuring a mix of mews, semi-detached, and detached houses.

Work will start on the project this summer and is expected to finish in 2027.

Bellway Homes is also making made a financial Section 106 contribution of £38,315 towards traffic calming and highway improvements in the local area.

Grace Yarlett, sales director at Bellway, said: “We are thrilled to have started build at Moss Bank Gardens and look forward to the development taking shape, with the sales launch scheduled this summer.”

Bellway worked with APD Architects and Gateley Solicitors on the scheme.

Pegasus Group, The Environment Partnership, Ascerta, Eddisons, JSP, Heritage Archaeology, Stannybrook Property Consultants, and Weetwood are also on the project team.
