Aldermore doubles space at Spring Gardens
The specialist bank has taken the 12,000 sq ft third floor at Impax Asset Management’s 40 Spring Gardens building in central Manchester, taking its space at the building to 24,000 sq ft.
In a busy quarter for the building, Lloyds has taken occupation of half the 6th floor, giving it two and a half floors.
At ground floor level, 2,175 sq ft has been let to hairdresser and beauty salon operator Evelyn’s, joining high end fashion retailer Hervia and Café Beermoth.

Ian Rolls, head of group services at Aldermore, said: “Since moving into 40 Spring Gardens during 2016 our local business has gone from strength to strength and the efficiency of the large floorplates and the quality of the building has really assisted the productivity and wellbeing of our team here in Manchester.
“We have been impressed with the sustainable management in place at the building and working with our proactive landlords, we are delighted have doubled the size of our space which will enable us to further grow our Manchester presence.”
Esme Lowe, the managing director of Impax, said: “We are confident discussions on the remaining two floors will be concluded shortly meaning the building is 100% let. We are firm believers in the growth potential of Manchester and are already looking at new opportunities site to re-invest in the city.”
