Aitchison Raffety boosts valuations team

Land surveyor David West has joined the national property consultancy’s Salford office as area director for Manchester.

Aitchison Raffety has boosted its valuations team with West’s appointment to the newly created position, aimed to drive and build the business in the North.

West has joined the company with more than 22 years of experience, having previously worked as associate partner and head of valuation at W T Gunson. Previous roles also include surveyor at Paramount, as well associate surveyor and head of Scanlans Consultant Surveyors’ Leeds office.

In his new position as area director for Manchester at Aitchison Raffety, West will lead the firm’s three-strong valuation team in Salford to diversify and expand the group’s offering in Manchester and across the North.
