Wilson Mason promotes Wood to partner
Eleanor Wood has been promoted from associate in her second stint at the Preston-based architecture practice.
Wood’s promotion sees her become a partner alongside James Potter, Dominique Haslam, and Darren Crossley.
Wood initially joined Wilson Mason in 2014 as an architect and stayed for four years. Between 2018 and 2021 she had stints at IWA Architects and North West Design Collective before rejoining Wilson Mason as senior architect.
She was promoted to associate in January 2023 and has now stepped up again.
“We are thrilled to promote Eleanor to partner,” said fellow partner James Potter.
“Her passion for design, professionalism, and her ability to inspire others make her a valuable asset to our team and we are excited for this new chapter as a practice.”
Wilson Mason, which also has a London office, is working on a host of schemes across the North West.
These include the refurbishment of Haslingden Market, a masterplan for Heysham, and a new school of veterinary medicine at UCLan.
Wood is also working with two of the region’s higher education establishments, the University of Manchester and Liverpool Hope University, on a range of new-build and refurbishment projects.
