Adelphi Wharf first phase sold out
The 200-apartment first phase of Adephi Wharf, the £75m buy-to-let residential scheme being delivered by Knight Knox International and Fortis Developments in Salford, has sold out.
The 450,000 sq ft development on the bank of the River Irwell was granted planning permission in May. The scheme will be let and managed by Fortis Lettings & Management. Amenities include bicycle storage, an on-site gym, concierge reception area, landscaped gardens and underground parking.
Adelphi Wharf will be completed over three phases. There are 206 apartments and townhouses included in the first phase, which is due to be completed in the second quarter of 2017. The development totals 593 units.
Knight Knox launched the scheme to potential investors in January. Prices for an apartment start at £94,995.
Kieran Moore, director of Fortis, said: “Fortis Developments has worked closely with Salford City Council and Urban Vision to ensure that the design and visual impact of Adelphi Wharf complements the area, whilst incorporating modern architecture along the city’s water front.
“A riverside walkway will be created to offer access to the waterfront, allowing residents to enjoy Salford’s surroundings with ease. Adelphi Wharf is an exciting project, so it’s no surprise that the first phase has proven so popular.”
