Widnes industrial site brought to market for £8m

Legat Owen has been engaged to progress the sale of 17 acres off Ditton Road, which comprises 280,000 sq ft across 15 buildings, all currently vacant.

SBM Management Consultants is coordinating the sale process.

The largest of which offers up to 40,000 sq ft, and there is further hard surface yard space and loading access surrounding the buildings.

This is the first time the site has been made available for purchase, and enquiries are being handled by Mark Diaper and Sam Tarjomani at Legat Owen.

Located within the Liverpool City Region Freeport zone, the site is close to logistics developments at Gorsey Point and Lovells Way.

Legat Owen has confirmed the property is being sold with full vacant possession, and are inviting offers above £8m for the freehold.

Sam Tarjomani, director at Legat Owen said: “It is rare for a freehold of this scale to come to the market in North West.

“The property is allocated as a primary employment land use within the Halton Delivery and Allocation (DALP) 2022 and has been an established industrial site since before the 1940s.”

“We are expecting a broad range of interest from a cross section of owner occupier businesses, investors, and industrial developers for the property’s next chapter.”
