Drees & Sommer on board as Place Party headline sponsor
The global real estate consultancy has chosen the region’s pre-eminent property social as a springboard for growth across the North.
Drees & Sommer will be the headline sponsor for Place Party North West 2024 on September 26 in Manchester. The company has recognised the value of an event that brings together more than 700 property professionals every year for a night of celebration without the unwelcome interruption of awards.
“We are excited to be sponsoring this year’s Place Party, as we look forward to celebrating some of the great work that has taken place across the region with new and existing clients and colleagues,” said Kenneth Wood, Drees & Sommer UK managing director.
The consultancy completed the takeover of AA Projects earlier this year and now has offices across the North in Sale, Liverpool, and Leeds.
Drees & Sommer is now seeking to deepen its understanding of the Northern market and make new connections across the region.
In a bid to do so, the firm will bring more than 40 partners from some of its 63 global offices to enjoy a night of networking and celebration at Place Party this autumn.
“We are looking forward to showcasing the new brand to some of the North West’s most important decision-makers and influencers, who will be essential for future growth and collaboration within the sector,” Wood added.
Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner and head of commercial at Place North, thinks Drees & Sommer has chosen the right event to support.

As preparation for Place Party North West 2024 ramps up, Moutsoupolos already has half an eye on 2025.
“As Place Party turns 10 next year, it shows that the market continues to value quality networking and is embracing our approach to facilitating profile and business development,” he said.
While the 2024 edition of the shindig is all but sold out, tickets for 2025 are now available. This event always sells out, so do not squander the chance to secure a place.
