Driving school manoeuvres Salford headquarters
Capsil has signed a 10-year lease on 7,000 sq ft at Exchange Quay, relocating its 80 staff from Blue Tower at Media City.
The firm, which provides intensive driving courses to learners, will occupy the first floor of Building Eights at Ekistics’s 435,000 sq ft Exchange Quay.
Capsil launched in 2016, has 5,000+ instructors on its books, and has helped 80,000 people across the country pass their tests.
The move to Exchange Quay from MediaCity comes as the firm continues to grow.
“As a growing technology business, moving to Exchange Quay makes business sense for us,” said Capsil chief executive Nicholas Dear.
“With desirable, high-quality office space, excellent transport connections and a hub of like-minded companies, we are ready to make Exchange Quay our new home.”
Les Lang, director at Till AM, which manages the complex on behalf of Ekistics, said: “We look forward to supporting Capsil’s sustained expansion strategy as it continues to hit the fast lane in its business growth.
“Exchange Quay is the perfect base for a forward-thinking organisation like Capsil, looking for high-quality office accommodation with a raft of state-of-the-art amenities and wellbeing facilities for its growing team.”
Canning O’Neill and Colliers are the retained agents on Exchange Quay. Capsil represented itself on the deal.
