Architectural Technician

An opportunity has arisen for an experience Architectural Technician to join a Manchester City Centre based company. They anticipate the Architectural Technician will play a pivotal role as they take the business to the next level.

Working on a variety of projects the role will provide an interesting mix of work. The Architectural Technician will take full responsibility for their own workload and work closely with colleagues to produce high quality output. There’s an exciting pipeline of projects and the successful candidate will work with autonomy whilst being supported by the wider team.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out surveys
• Preparation of drawings, schedules and specifications
• Ensure and designs and details comply with Health & Safety regulations
• Answering queries from clients, contractors, suppliers etc
• Submitting projects for planning
• Attending site visits
• Maintaining a diary log to reference future job costing
• Working closely with the team to ensure successful delivery

A proven track record as an Architectural Technician is required. And a recent working knowledge of Revit and UK building regulations is essential.
