Skincare manufacturer takes 6,500 sq ft at M60 Office Park

Quest Personal Care Global has signed a 10-year lease at £13.50/sq ft on the first floor of Maple Court at The Prime Group’s Swinton site.

The skincare manufacturer will relocate from its current headquarters in Bury to take up the 6,500 sq ft suite within M60 Office Park, located off Junction 16 of the M60 Manchester Orbital motorway.

Quest has taken up the Grade A office space with the intention of expanding its 42-strong team to accommodate more than 60 employees in the future.

Richard Jorden, chief operating officer of Quest, said: “After 15 years in our previous location, we felt the time was right to move the Quest team to a bright new location that allows for continued growth and development of the company.

“Established in 1993 Quest have long been ‘kings of the humble cotton bud’, however the past five years have seen a phenomenal evolution in the sales and marketing of our own skincare brands culminating in 2023 recording both a record year in terms of sales and sales growth.”

The company will join the likes of Otis Lifts, In The Style, and BT Local Business at the employment park, which was redeveloped by The Prime Group in 2018.

Imran Younus, commercial director of The Prime Group, said: ”This represents our second largest letting on the park and demonstrates that the office market in the North West is resilient when a landlord is able to make a compelling case and we look forward to building on this success in the first quarter of 2024.”

Cushman & Wakefield and JLL acted on behalf of The Prime Group, while Kuits Solicitors advised the landlord on the transaction. Quest was unrepresented.

Richard Wharton, director of JLL, said: “The decision by Quest to relocate to M60 Office Park followed an exhaustive trawl of office schemes in North Manchester.

“The scheme’s amenity offer, fully fitted office space, extensive car parking, and access directly off J16 of the M60 were all factors in the decision and there is a good level of interest in the remaining space within the office park.”
