Hollins puts in for 100 Hazel Grove homes

Two plots totalling more than eight acres near the junction of the A6 and the airport relief road are earmarked for development by the land promotor.

Hollins Strategic Land has lodged two applications for a total of 106 homes on the sites, which are separated by Buxton Road.

The larger of the two sites, six acres north of Buxton Road, is earmarked for 75 homes.

The smaller of the two plots measures 2.4 acres and is located south of Mill Lane. It would accommodate 31 homes under Hollins’s plans.

Both sites are currently designated as Green Belt and both schemes would provide 50% affordable homes and a mix of one- and two-bed flats and two-, three-, and four-bed houses.
