Purdies Ladieswear has sublet a shop at 14 St Werburgh Street, Chester, to Joules, the clothing retailer.
Joules took an assignment of a 15-year lease at a passing rent of £40,000/year on the 1,361 sq ft outlet.
Joules has 15 shops in the UK and plans to open 30 by 2011.
