Plans unveiled for 53 homes in Pendle

Developer Pearl Together is seeking to redevelop a brownfield site in Earby.

The development would comprise of 53 homes: four one-bedroom bungalows, and 21 two-bedroom, 24 three-bedroom, and four four-bedroom houses. A total of 13 of these properties will offer affordable housing.

The three-acre site is located on Stoney Bank Road. Vehicular and pedestrian access is provided via Bailey Street.

Plans include the demolition and clearance of the existing vacant office building on site, formerly a call centre.

BTP Architects has drawn up the plans which would see the number of car parking spaces on site reduced from 249 to 110.

Ashley Helme is providing transport planning advice for this project.

ACS Consulting is the environmental consultant for the scheme.

The application’s reference number for Pendle Council is 22/0848/FUL
