PLANNING | YPG goes big with Devon Street scheme
YPG’s proposal to enlarge its student accommodation scheme in Devon Street will go before Liverpool’s planning committee on 29 August with a recommendation for approval.
A scheme of 162 student beds was approved in December, but YPG, which won consent in June for a serviced apartments project at the Rapid Hardware site, has gone back to the drawing board, reporting viability issues with the previous iteration.
Alos set to go before the committee are a residential scheme to the south of the city centre, a mental health care facility in Mossley Hill, and facilities to support a water-based inflatable assault course in Duke’s Dock.
