Pavilion approved for Liverpool One park

One of the final pieces in the £1bn jigsaw of Liverpool One has won planning permission – a pavilion atop Chavasse Park by Studio Three Architects.
The Liverpool-based firm designed the small, £1m pavilion to stage public events and offer views across the park and Mersey.
The structure will be finished in time for the second wave of openings at the massive scheme, due at the end of September. The first phase opens in less than five weeks' time, on 29 May.
