P4: Why we’re heading back to MIPIM

Building safety experts Project Four have joined the North of England at MIPIM delegation. Max Meadows explains why the timing is right strategically for MIPIM 2027.

“We dipped our toe into MIPIM a few years ago,” says Max Meadows, managing director of Project Four. “But Project Four is a very different business today. We’ve grown in the size of our team and the scale and complexity of the projects we’re delivering, working with major national and international clients across the property and construction sectors.

“It’s been quite a journey, and one we’re proud of. We’ve built strong relationships, contributed to major developments and established ourselves as a trusted voice in building safety. We’ve also seen first-hand how the regulatory landscape is evolving, and have plenty to share about what’s working, where the challenges remain and what the industry still needs to do better.

“MIPIM gives us the chance to share that experience, but just as importantly, to listen. Building safety needs to be part of conversations about developments from the outset, and we want to understand the challenges facing developers, investors and project teams, share what we’ve learned and explore where we can make a practical difference.

“It’s also a valuable opportunity to step back from the day-to-day, catch up with existing clients and meet new people properly. Some of the best conversations happen away from the meeting room, over dinner, a drink or simply catching up without the usual pressures of the working week. Having that time to talk openly, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships is hugely valuable.

“We’ve chosen to work with Place North because of its reach and relationships across the property and development industry. It gives us a great opportunity to connect with the right people and tell the story of where Project Four has come from and where we’re heading.

“Being part of Vadella adds another dimension to that journey. We’re now alongside a wider group of complementary businesses, creating opportunities to collaborate, share specialist expertise and offer even more to our clients.

“We’re heading to MIPIM with experience to share, plenty to learn and a genuine interest in the conversations ahead.”

Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner of Place Media Group, added: “We have known and worked with P4 for many years and we know that they add real value and will be an asset to our delegation. BSA is an issue for so many, but Al and Max will be able to help advise any who need to get in touch with them while they are at MIPIM.”
