Oxenwood seals OHS deal at Trafford Park
Online Home Shop has secured a 327,000 sq ft fulfilment centre to support its growth ambitions.
Represented on the deal by Capre, with B8RE, DTRE and JLL working for landlord Oxenwood Real Estate, OHS has now completed the deal as it looks to strengthen operational capacity.
The refurbished Electric Park site provides around 45,000 pallet spaces, which OHS said will help it enhance stock management, improve distribution efficiency, and better serve customers as demand continues to grow.
OHS sells bedding, furniture, homeware and clothing and currently operates from various sites around Greater Manchester. The business is registered in Worsley.
With historic capacity restraints from multiple sites now unlocked, this site will allow OHS to ship 6m orders this year and provides significant job opportunities to grow headcount from 200 people to over 300.
Chief executive Moshe Cohen said: “Signing this new lease is a significant milestone for OHS and reflects our commitment to investing in the infrastructure needed to support our incredible growth journey.
“This additional capacity will help us operate more efficiently and continue delivering the high level of service our customers expect. I would like to thank everybody involved in making this happen.”

Good news but hear it was a soft deal
