NSG appoints general manager
Deeside-based scaffolding and industrial services firm NSG UK has promoted Tim Walker to the new role.
Walker has worked for the company for 11 years, joining straight from Nottingham Trent University after gaining a BSc Honours degree and a post graduate certificate in management.
He is moving to the Deeside headquarters from NSG's Runcorn office where he worked as commercial manager, looking after clients Ineos Chlor Vinyls and Ineos Enterprises.
Walker started in NSG's administration department at Ratcliffe Power Station in Nottingham. He then spent four years as project manager, working across the nuclear, construction, pharmaceutical and power generation fields, before moving to Runcorn. Walker was also responsible for managing NSG's satellite offices across the North West.
Walker said: "NSG UK is enjoying a sustained period of stability and growth under an excellent team of directors, and we are developing opportunities across a wide range of sectors including oil and gas, transport, nuclear and social housing."
NSG's construction clients also include Corus, Lilly, Balfour Beatty, and Laing O'Rourke.
NSG has also expanded into the rail and marine and off-shore sectors.
