Novus completes two schemes for Lancaster University

Contractor Novus has completed a pair of refurbishment schemes for the university totalling £800,000.

The works took place at the George Fox and Chancellor’s Wharf buildings. At the former, 12 kitchens and 118 bedrooms were refurbished, along with new furniture fittings, decoration for communal areas, and electrical and security upgrades.

Works at Chancellor’s Wharf included pre-paint repairs to 900 windows, decoration for the building’s exterior and the installation of 14 Technal aluminium doors across its three floors. The project took nine weeks.

Novus has previously worked at Lancaster University, and completed £1.5m of refurbishment projects across 17 of the university’s halls last year.
