Ellesmere Port 66-bed care home proposed
LNT Care Developments is behind the plans for undeveloped land off Lloyd Drive, which is part of the Cheshire Oaks Business Park.
The firm’s sister company LNT Construction will deliver the older person facility, creating up to 60 jobs, according to the proposals lodged with Cheshire West and Chester Council.
A three-story building is earmarked for the two-acre brownfield site, which will provide single-room accommodation with ensuite wet room facilities, and 25 car park spaces.
Other facilities mooted for the proposed home include dining rooms, a café, quiet lounges, family rooms, a garden room, a TV/cinema room, a sky bar, a clinic, and a hair salon.
Landscape garden areas would surround the building, with outdoor seating areas off the main lounges and wander paths. Mature trees to the north west of the site would also be retained as part of the development.
The project team includes Thomson Environmental Consultants, Noonan Engineering, Mood Landscape, and Lithos.
