Loughenbury returns to Lexington North as MD

Leaving behind his role as director of strategy at Onward Homes, Rob Loughenbury has rejoined the strategic communications agency as managing director for its Northern operations.

Loughenbury first joined Lexington in 2013. He worked for the company until 2020, when he joined housing association Onward. Now he’s back, ready to help the company supercharge its Northern business helping companies with their reputation and vision by providing advice and data-linked insight on the best ways to do business and influence stakeholders and decision-makers.

As managing director of Lexington North, Loughenbury will work closely with Lexington founder Paul Boyfield. Boyfield has taken on the role of executive director and head of build environment in the UK.

Reflecting on Loughenbury’s return, Boyfield said: “This appointment significantly strengthens our senior team at Lexington North. Many of our clients recall working with Rob and his leadership will help us drive an exciting new phase of business growth.”

Loughenbury had nothing but praise for his new company, saying: “Lexington is the best place to go for strategic political and communications advice for those navigating the built environment.

“Our strong Northern team offers expertise across property, public affairs, corporate communications, and social value,” he continued.

He was also optimistic about the North’s future. “Early discussions with existing and potential clients indicate that we can look forward to strong growth in the Northern property market in the years ahead,” Loughenbury said.

Current Lexington clients include Peel, Barratt Homes, Tritax Symmetry, and Royal London Asset Management. Lexington North is based in Manchester. The wider Lexington group has offices in the Middle East and London.
