Warrington industrial units traded for £2.7m

Acting on behalf of T&T Thompson (Holdings), agent Davies Harrison Real Estate has sold Albion Park, a 90,000 sq ft industrial estate in Glazebury, Warrington for £2.7m.

MDF supplier W Howard has DF profiles has acquired the asset as it seeks to expand its northern operations by moving into the vacant 70,000 sq ft. The park in total covers five acres, with seven buildings. It is also home to Better Bathrooms and East Lancashire Commercials.

Rick Davies, director of Davies Harrison, said: “There was strong demand for this site from both the owner-occupier and investment market reaffirming our confidence in the strength of the current occupier market.  However, W Howard was the preferred bidder as it was close to its head office and the growing company had an immediate need for the vacant space.”

W Howard is headquartered in Astley, Greater Manchester, and also has bases in Ireland, Wales and Essex.

Morgan Williams was the joint letting agent.  W Howard was unrepresented.
