Sutton Kersh sale achieves 70%

Sutton Kersh sold 72 of 102 properties offered at its August auction, generating £4.5m.

The first lot of the day, two semis in Swiss Road, Kensington, Liverpool, sold for £102,000 off a guide price of £70,000.

The former Citizen's Advice Bureau in Church Street, Prescot sold for £132,500 off a guide of £80,000.

A six-bedroom, three-storey end of terrace property in Kempton Road, L15, guided at £65,000, sold for £95,500.

The September results mean that Sutton Kersh has sold almost 450 properties in 2013, generating £30m.

The next Sutton Kersh sale is due to take place on Thursday 17 October, for which the catalogue closes on Friday 20 September.
