Harworth’s Cutacre plans passed

Three separate applications for Harworth Estates' 250-acre Logistics North distribution park on the site of the former Cutacre coal mine have been approved by Bolton Council.

The detailed application for a 500,000 sq ft Aldi shed, as well as outline plans for the wider 4m sq ft logistics development and a country park element were all approved on Thursday.

The plans must now be decided upon by Wigan and Salford councils due to the size of the development and its potential impact on the wider area. Decisions are due next month.

Jones Lang LaSalle and DTZ are the letting agents for the scheme.
