Guest returns to Bruntwood

Bruntwood has welcomed back its regional director in charge of the Liverpool office after he spent a year running his own consultancy.

Initially, David Guest will rejoin arguably the region's dominant office landlord on a part-time basis while he continues to service clients through his consultancy, Build. Guest advises the Everyman and Playhouse theatres trust in Liverpool, for whom he successfully helped secure grant funding from the North West Development Agency for the redevelopment of the Everyman on Hope Street.

The position of regional director was not filled when he left Bruntwood in September 2008. Guest is also chairman of Liverpool Commercial District Partnership. He could not be immediately contacted for comment.

Bruntwood owns nearly 1m sq ft of offices in Liverpool in numerous trophy office buildings including The Plaza, 1 Dale Street, 19 Castle Street, Orleans House, Oriel Chambers, Queen Insurance Buildings, Cotton Exchange and Cotton House, and St Hugh's in Bootle.

Bruntwood is owned by the Oglesby family, said to be worth £295m according to the Estates Gazette Rich List.
