Gladman sells pair of Oldham offices
Cheshire-based Gladman Developments has sold a further 4,500 sq ft of office space at Howarth Court, its £8.5m, 55,000 sq ft speculative development on Oldham Broadway Business Park.
Local companies Sure Connect Systems and Spectroserve have acquired units five and six respectively, each of 2,250 sq ft.
Both purchases were on a long leasehold basis for 999 years at a price of £337,500.
Sure Connect Systems is a commercial electrical contractor, which employs more than 20 people carrying out electrical installations for large organisations in the region, including Unilever, Swinton Insurance and Black Horse Finance. The company is moving from its current premises in Blackley, Manchester.
Spectro Serve services and maintains laboratory instruments, such as mass spectrometers, for chemical companies, pharmaceutical companies and hospitals across the North West. The company is relocating from two smaller offices in north Manchester to bring together its repair and administration team under one roof.
Only one self contained building now remains at Howarth Court of 25,500 sq ft, which is available as a whole, or on a floor by floor basis from 8,410 sq ft. The quoting purchase price for the building is on £155/sq ft, with quoting rents around £13.50/sq ft.
