College build contract available

Mid-Cheshire College is seeking a main contractor to build two new facilities at its Hartford campus in Northwich.
The college has appointed management and property consultancy AA Projects to recruit a suitable contractor for the project.
In December last year, the college governors approved the £12m project and during the next two years, a new Performing Arts facility with a 200-seat theatre will be built, as well as a new Construction Skills centre.
The £7m contract is due to commence on the 5 January next year and scheduled to finish on 19 July 2012.
Deadline for submitting tenders is Monday 24 May 2010 at 5pm.
