Marshall CDP proposes 400,000 sq ft Wirral industrial
A 20-acre site off Georgia Avenue in Bromborough is the subject of plans for an employment scheme from the Yorkshire-based outfit.
Marshall CDP has lodged early-stage proposals outlining its intention to submit a planning application for up to 400,000 sq ft of industrial space overlooking the Mersey.
The scheme would be developed on a vacant site within an established industrial area located east of Croft Retail Park.
According to planning documents prepared by King Street Planning, the site was previously occupied by Mersey Chemical Works, which was demolished in the 1980s.
Marshall will submit its plans in outline and has not firmed up how the site’s redevelopment could ultimately look.
Two indicative configurations have been worked up, both proposing a total of 400,000 sq ft of workspace in buildings not exceeding 20 metres.
One indicates a single shed, while the other shows plans for a clutch of sheds ranging from 18,000 sq ft to 51,000 sq ft.
