Last Chester Business Park plots in for planning

HOW Planning, on behalf of Chester Parkside, has submitted an outline application to build a 111,366 sq ft office building on the last available land at Chester Business Park.

The site is on Heronsway, and pulls together three sites, Parkside One, Parkside Two, and Wrexham Road Farm, into a single 9.4-acre plot. While detailed designs will not be submitted until the reserved matters stage, it is expected that the building will be three storeys, “of a scale in keeping with the character of the business park”.

The park is home to blue-chip occupiers such as Bank of America, M&S Bank and RBS.

The site, which has been approved for office development on numerous occasions, is currently vacant with an area of dense woodland to the north. The indicative masterplan provides for up to 280 car parking spaces on site.

The professional team includes Paddock Johnson Partnership as architect, SCP Transport, CES Ecology and TIER Consult. Chester Parkside is registered in Chester, with John and Catherine Pickering registered as directors.
