Head of planning hired at TEM

TEM Property, formerly Tatton Estate Management, has appointed Carol Clarke as head of planning and engagement, to provide strategy and delivery advice for commercial, residential and agricultural clients.

Clarke joined from Peter Brett Associates, having worked with Next on the Middlebrook Retail Park and Bloor Homes. She previously having spent more than 11 years at HOW Planning.

She will work alongside other department heads such as Jim McCain, TEM Property director; Craig Dixon-Goode, head of TEM Utilities; and Heather Clawson, head of TEM Locations & Events.

Henry Brooks, director at Tatton Estate Management, said: “Carol joins TEM Planning at an exciting time with many projects in the pipeline including innovative solutions for flexible change of use, the most recent of these enabling OKA to bring their retail store to Knutsford, greenbelt housing allocations and safeguarding for a new Science Park.”

Clarke said: “The excellent track record that TEM Property holds for providing valuable property advice right through to delivery was a huge attraction for me and I look forward to playing a major part in the growth and evolution of TEM and our clients. It’s a pleasure to join a highly successful team of property professionals where I hope to bring a wide range of experience in strategic planning development management and community engagement and apply it to future development projects for existing and new TEM Planning clients.”
