Tatton takes management in house following slew of senior hires
Fisher German will hand over the keys to chief executive Pete Crowther and his newly assembled team after 20 years managing its various assets.
Tatton Estate has opted to bring the management of its 5,500-acre Cheshire holdings in house for the first time since the Brooks family took over as stewards in 1958 as it embarks on a long-term vision for the diverse estate.
Jacqui Burgess has been appointed as finance director and Daniel Bourne joins as asset management director. Both previously worked with Crowther at Bruntwood.
Tom Darby has joined as senior development manager from Muse and will work alongside Amy Bowden.
Sam Rodgers is another new arrival, leaving HBD to join Tatton as development manager.
A dedicated residential property team, led by Shamira Dar, now supports the estate’s housing portfolio, the firm said. Annette McDonald continues as partnerships and sustainability director, Hollie Cammiss across commercial, and Abi Owers as head of communications and community.
Crowther’s has built a new-look team to deliver on his remit to strengthen day-to-day management, enhance service delivery, and support the estate’s future direction, according to the company.
Tatton’s pipeline projects include Bluebell Village in Knutsford and the Westmorland Tatton Services joint venture.
“This strategy ensures the estate is structured to meet its long-term responsibilities,” Crowther said.
“Bringing management fully in-house allows us to align operations more closely with our goals, maintain consistently high standards and take decisions with a clear view of the Estate’s future.”
