FDG recruits Room as director
Marion Room has joined the architecture firm from DMWR, where she spent the last year.
The Fairhursts Design Group has drafted Room in as director to grow the company’s pipeline of projects in the science, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors for clients including the University of Manchester and the University of Liverpool.
In her new role, Room will also provide mentoring for FDG’s junior team and promote the company’s commitment to knowledge sharing and talent development.

Room’s arrival at FDG follows stints at several other design firms over a 20-year career, including BDP, Sheppard Robson, Chapman Taylor, and Tp bennett.

FDG employs 45 people across offices in Manchester, Southampton, and Cambridge.
