Driver adds non-exec to board

Driver, the construction industry consultancy based in Rossendale, has appointed former Carillion commercial director Gary Turner as a non-executive director.
Turner, 51, retired from a full-time role at Carillion last year, having overseen the integration of Mowlem and Alfred McAlpine in 2006 and 2008.
In June, Driver reported a pre-tax loss of £0.45m on revenue of £8.84m for the six months to April.
Turner will join the board on 1 October 2010.
