Developer to start on 112 Wrexham homes

Bellway said that remediation work will begin on the Mountain View development off Gatewen Road in New Broughton this spring.

The 12-acre site, which was formerly agricultural land, will deliver a range of three, four and five bedroom properties, a mix of semi-detached and detached houses.

With work on site starting soon, the development will be launched in the summer and the first homes released for sale.

Jenny Bell, sales director at Bellway, said: “It’s great to be back in Wrexham with a brand new residential development.

“We are due to start on site in Spring and hope to be well underway with construction in the coming months so that we can start selling from summer onwards.

“It’s a well located development with mountainous views, just a short drive from the centre of Wrexham and close to major A road offering easy access across North Wales and into the North West of England.”

Bellway has also made financial contributions as part of the development, including £324,095 for education with 25% of the development earmarked for affordable housing, which includes one and two bedroom apartments, plus three bedroom semi-detached homes.

The project was granted planning permission in 2022. The project team includes Lichfields, Astle Planning & Design, Enzygo, Ascerta,  Leigh Ecology, Waterco, Wardell Armstrong, Coopers, Integrated Transport Planning, and Mono Civil Design Consultants.

Is that a site specific image, or a generic one? Is there any difference anyway?
