Deloitte confirms first wave of David McLean job losses

Deloitte, admininstrator to David McLean Group, said 134 staff in the contracting subsidiary, David McLean Contractors, had been made redundant.

The Deeside-based group employed a total of 320 people at the time of its collapse earlier this week.

Nick Edwards, joint administrator at Deloitte, said: "We would reiterate there have been no redundancies in the house building operation, David McLean Homes, and we continue to trade this business to sell it as a going concern."
