Close Brothers agrees Place North partnership

The property lender has signed a 12-month deal to deliver a high-impact marketing campaign with Place North, building on successful work with Place North West.

Daniel Joyce, director of Close Brothers Property Finance, said he was “delighted to extend this partnership for a second consecutive year. It represents a natural link to our continued growth and firm presence across the North and North West regions.”

The marketing package includes sponsorship of events during UKREiiF in May, a bespoke filmed roundtable for the Yorkshire market with Place Yorkshire, thought-leadership commentary, and tailor-made networking invitations throughout the year.

Close Brothers provides bespoke finance solutions to property developers and commercial landlords to assist with the acquisition, refinance, and development of residential and commercial buildings throughout England, Scotland, and Wales.

Joyce added: “As part of the FTSE 250 Close Brothers Group over the last 40 years, we have successfully developed a reputation as one of the region’s leading development finance providers for SME and regional developers.

“We take great pride in helping the best developers in the region set award-winning standards in terms of quality, innovation, and design across both the residential, PBSA, and commercial sectors. We look forward to continuing this track record over the coming year.”

Dino Moutsopoulos, commercial director of Place North, said: “Having worked with Close Brothers for a number of years in the NW, we are very excited to be helping them in Yorkshire. Close is a quality lender that is trusted and respected in the marketplace. Place North looks forward to aligning with them over the coming 12 months to help the SME house builders and developers across the North.”

Close Brothers joins Hydrock as a newly confirmed Place North partner since launching the expanded suite of titles for Yorkshire and North East during MIPIM in March.
