GMCA allocates another £163m from Good Growth Fund
Some £53m of grant funding will go towards transport projects across the city region, with another £25m supporting innovation initiatives, and £70m of grants and loans helping to deliver 789 homes in Manchester.
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority has earmarked £163m for a range of projects in the latest round of allocations from its £2bn Good Growth Fund.
The allocations made this month take the total pledged from the fund beyond £1bn since its launch in November. The fund cobbles together various devolved monies, £500m from the National Wealth Fund, and private investment from the Greater Manchester Pension Fund. It provides a range of products including grants, patient equity, and loans.
A total of 52 Good Growth Fund funding submissions seeking approximately £782m were received in the latest call for projects. Below are the successful submissions.
