Cityheart expands development team

Greg Ball has been recruited to join the regeneration company as development director from his previous role at Pitalia.

Based at Cityheart’s Wilmslow office, Ball joins the company’s eight-strong senior development team to work on national projects in the company’s current long-term £650m development pipeline.

Ball brings more than 20 years of experience to the position of development director. Previous roles include senior development manager at Urban Splash, developer at Muse Developments, and director of JLL.

Warren Taylor, director of Cityheart, said: “Greg is an ideal fit to our growing in-house development team as he has the skills and knowledge to understand and help realise the large scale, multi-phase regeneration projects that we are working on together with local councils.”

Ball added: “Cityheart has a strong reputation for delivering exceptional communities through its ambitious regeneration and placemaking schemes.

“Working in partnership with local councils to create thriving communities has been the role that I have enjoyed the most throughout my career and Cityheart has some very exciting and inspiring schemes in the pipeline that aligns perfectly with this.”

Cityheart has two offices in the North West, with its other located in Chester.

The firm is active across the region, having received approval this week for its £135m Galleries scheme in Wigan to redevelop a town centre retail complex to deliver a Multi Media Centre, 483 homes, a 144-bedroom hotel, and a new market hall and food court.
