Chapter turns the page on Blackley venue site
Chapter RE, working with registered provider Jigsaw Homes, has submitted plans for 43 affordable properties where the VASA social club currently stands.
The plot is located on the corner of Rochdale Road and White Moss Road in Blackley and its next door to the recently completed Blackley Community Fire Station.
Designed by Bowker Sadler, the scheme proposes a three-storey L-shaped apartment block containing a mix of one- and two-bed homes.
To make room for the scheme, the former VASA social club will be demolished. The venue was damaged by a fire several years ago and has not been used since.
Chapter RE is headed up by Ryan Barnhill and Sam Miller. The company exchanged on the site last year.
