CERT nears completion of Collyhurst resi

Arca Construct is targeting a Q3 finish at Osborne Yard having recently reached the highest point of the 90-home development.

CERT Property’s six-storey Collyhurst scheme is 80% sold out ahead of completion later this year.

Osborne Yard comprises 83 apartments and seven townhouses off Oldham Road. The development, designed by Elevate Architects, provides apartments that are larger than average for the city centre, to appeal to families and couples looking for more space, according to the developer.

Chris Hosty, CERT’s head of design, said: “We’re delighted to reach the top at Osborne Yard, taking us closer to realising our contribution to the vision for the Collyhurst regeneration zone.

“The scheme sees a number of parcels of brownfield land brought together, supporting a positive transition for the area into a connected and vibrant community.”

Arca Constrcut, previously known as Heatley Developments, began work on the scheme 12 months ago.

Osborne Yard is one of three schemes CERT expects to complete this year. The others are SONA, opposite Manchester Apollo in Ardwick, and the 81-home Peelers Yard project in New Cross, backed by Myprotein founder Oliver Cookson.
