Bootle development site for sale

A seven-acre waterside site at Coffee House Bridge in Bootle, north Liverpool has been put on the market for residential development.

Hitchcock Wright & Partners has been appointed to sell the site on behalf of a partnership between Sefton council, the Trustees of St Mary's School and British Waterways.

The selected developer for the land, alongside the Leeds-Liverpool Canal in Carolina Street, will be expected to create a mixed-tenure community and enhanced open spaces.

The deadline for questionnaires to be returned is 14 December and a preferred partner is due to be announced in the week commencing 17 March, 2008.

Further details are available upon request from Nick Harrop at Hitchcock Wright & Partners.
