Allan joins Gateley Legal as director
Richard Allan has left Irwin Mitchell after five years to join a rival firm.
Gateley Legal has appointed Allan as legal director in its construction team. He will work alongside 220 colleagues out of the firm’s Manchester office.
Allan will lead on dispute resolution in the construction, engineering, and energy sectors as well as providing advice to clients on fire safety issues in light of the Building Safety Act.
During a nearly 20 year career, Allan has acted for and advised UK and international owners, contractors, consultants, funders and administrators on projects in the UK, mainland Europe, USA, Russia and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Gateley Legal, Allan spent five years at Irwin Mitchell. He has also had stints at JMW Solicitors, Knights, DLA Piper and Pinsent Masons.
