Place raises the bar with larger, more ambitious events for 2027
Place Media Group is resetting its event programme, centring on a more focused calendar that reflects the scale and opportunity of the regional property market.
In response to the growing influence of the North and Midlands on the national stage and feedback from the Place community of attendees and sponsors, we have devised new formats and new sponsorship packages.
Rather than a broad range of smaller gatherings, the calendar now centres on full-day conferences, high-level networking lunches, and an expanded Greater Manchester dinner, each designed to bring together senior decision-makers and larger audiences.
For North West attendees, that means greater value from every diary commitment.
What sponsors receive
- Tiered sponsorship options that align spend with visibility, influence, and access
- Panellist opportunities at certain partnership levels, subject to editorial fit
- Curated invitations to targeted new‑business prospects, built around each event’s focus
- Leaders Dinners the evening before full‑day conferences, giving sponsors off‑record time with senior public and private sector figures
- Stronger on‑site presence through exhibition space, product placement, and host acknowledgements
- Integrated editorial support and digital promotion, ensuring activity carries beyond the room
What guests receive
- More networking time in formats that encourage genuine conversation rather than passing encounters
- More learning through structured content that goes beyond surface‑level commentary
- Less travel, with a concentrated calendar and clearer reasons to attend each event
- More efficient use of time, with breakfast, lunch, full‑day, and evening formats designed to deliver multiple outcomes in a single visit
- Higher‑profile gatherings that bring together broader, more senior audiences from across the region and UK
The Greater Manchester Real Estate Summit introduces a full-day conference format exploring pipeline, policy, and investment across one of the UK’s most dynamic city regions. It will be followed by the Greater Manchester Real Estate Dinner, combining informal conversation with meaningful business opportunities.
The Lancashire and Liverpool Development Updates will provide content-rich half-day briefings on live projects, while the Northern Industrial & Logistics Summit and Northern Residential Summit will create space for focused market discussion.
The mid-year Northern Property Lunch and year-end Economic Forecast Lunch will offer opportunities to gather, reflect, and take stock of one of the UK’s most exciting regional growth stories.
Our commitment to growing the North of England presence at MIPIM in March will continue, and a busy UKREiiF remains in the calendar of activity from Place North West.
There will also be room in the programme for bespoke sessions if you require our event management expertise for your own targeted marketing delivery in the property market.
All our events are chaired by Place Media Group journalists renowned for their editorial integrity and expertise.
Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner and head of commercial, said: “We pride ourselves on quality news, probing event content, and top-level delivery. We live and work in the patches we cover, and we know who and what matters when it comes to winning work in the North and Midlands.
“2027 marks a year of significant change for Place Media Group.
“Bigger events mean more time to learn and build relationships. Our day-long summits, bookended by networking, are designed to give attendees the insight they need to stay up to date and be better positioned to win work.
“As we turn 20, Place Media Group has never been better positioned to influence and support our markets. We look forward to working with our long-term partners and welcoming new businesses to our events.”
To reflect our growth and deeper reach into the industry, the improved core calendar will provide sponsors with a clearer, tiered structure and more touchpoints around each event.
Full-day conferences will include an exclusive Leaders Dinner the night before for around 30 invited guests, a full programme day, and a closing drinks reception. Sponsorship options will range from Lead Partner to Event Partner, with additional packages for the dinner and reception.
Packages include sector exclusivity, prominent branding across marketing activity, guaranteed speaking or panel opportunities at selected levels, curated guest passes, exhibition space, product drops, advertising on Place sites, and delegate data to support follow-up.
The shift marks a deliberate move away from numerous smaller events towards a concentrated North West core calendar with greater impact and more meaningful interactions. Place is backing the region with larger stages, deeper content, and stronger formats that better reflect the North West’s position in the UK market, while giving sponsors a more powerful platform to position their brand and win work.
