Elan Homes sells Deeside office to drugs firm
Elan Homes has sold the 40,400 sq ft Enterprise House complex on Deeside Industrial Estate to Quay Pharmaceuticals for an undisclosed sum.
The complex comprises 32,000 sq ft of offices and 8,400 sq ft of warehousing on a site of 3.3 acres.
Jonty Goodchild, head of business space for Bolton Birch, which acted on behalf of Elan Homes in the sale, said: "This is a substantial transaction for Deeside Industrial Estate in difficult market conditions which proves that occupier demand is still strong for this established and successful park."
Quay Pharmaceuticals will use the complex as its head office, with the warehousing being used for laboratory space. The company was unrepresented in the deal.
Elan Homes, set up last year by former directors of David McLean Homes following its collapse, has since occupied the 7,233 sq ft Oak House at Cheshire Oaks Business Park.
