Billed as a health and wellbeing village, due to its proximity to leisure facilities also upgraded in the area, the NHS Merseyside & Cheshire building is now operational. Bundred & Good was the project architect.
The centre offers 30 consultation and treatment rooms for visiting medical officers, and six letting spaces for businesses to use, one of them already occupied by a pharmacy.
Facilities include five electric vehicle charging points alongside 145 car parking spaces. The centre also has PV panels and air source heat pumps.

Wynne Construction project manager Mark Wilson said: “Progressing construction around the existing village hall proved challenging due to the tight working space, however, I’m proud of our team for minimising disruptions by offering users of the old village hall temporary car parking access to ensure they could always access the facility.
“Overall, it’s been fantastic to deliver such a vital project that will undoubtedly serve the local community through the provision of physical and mental support as well as spaces for social interaction.
“It has also had a wide impact on the region, with approximately 800 people having worked on the scheme since its inception, including a range of local subcontractors, and 79 apprentice and 16 work experience weeks taking place on site.”
Alongside the trio of new builds, Wynne Construction has relocated and upgraded the children’s play park to the back of the site, as well as resurfacing two sports fields.
Complete with new changing rooms these recreation grounds will be used by local youth football team, Great Sutton FC.
Wynne is currently appointed to a number of frameworks, including the North Wales Construction Partnership, Pagabo, SEWSCAP, South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework, Welsh Procurement Alliance, Westworks, and RNLI.
