WSP agrees year’s largest deal at Salford Quays

Spire Healthcare has sub-let the entire 16,220 sq ft second floor of Victoria Harbour City to WSP, making it the largest deal in Salford Quays so far in 2008.

WSP has taken a seven-and-a-half-year lease at a rent equivalent to £18/sq ft.

Rupert Barron, office agency director at acting agents DTZ, said: "We are delighted with the rapid success that we have had in this difficult economic market in disposing of Spire Healthcare's lease in Victoria Harbour City, Salford Quays. This shows the strength of the market for high density, quality accommodation, which is ready to go, and arranged on a large single floorplate."
