Place North managing partner Dino Moutsopoulos and Place North West deputy editor Dan Whelan sat down to discuss how preparations for MIPIM 2026 are going after launching a fresh programme and suite of packages in May.
Since then, WSP has joined the delegation at the Partner Prestige level for the second year in a row, while firms like Tritax Big Box Developments, Morgan Sindall Construction, and Civic will also be travelling to Cannes next March as part of the Place North Partnership.

What’s new for 2026?
International investor breakfast
Sick of bumping into the same people over and over again? This event will give local authority and developer partners the chance to make new connections and meet the people armed with the capital to make their visions a reality.
This event will take place on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
Industrial and logistics breakfast conference
We heard from you that MIPIM 2025 was lacking in industrial and logistics content. That’s why, in 2026, Place North will be hosting an I&L breakfast conference that will explore the issues and opportunities facing this vital sector.
Tritax Big Box Developments and Caddick will sponsor this event, which will take place on Thursday, 12 March 2026.
