Vectos hires seven in Manchester

The transport planning and infrastructure design consultancy has appointed seven new members of staff across its infrastructure and transport teams in the last two months.

Tom Flanagan has joined from AECOM as a technician, Ian Witherington from SCP as senior engineer, and Mike Rogers as associate after two years working in the Middle East. The team is led by director Mike Standring.

In the transport team, John Lancaster and Elliot Read have joined as planners, while Paul Whitaker has joined from Mayer Brown as senior transport planner. Peter Jones has been hired as a CAD technician.

Adam Smith, director of Vectos, said: “These appointments significantly increase the depth of knowledge of our team and will materially enhance the level of service that we can provide to our clients. We are absolutely delighted that they have chosen to work at Vectos.”

Vectos specialises in assisting the property development industry to maximise the commercial value of land and assets through the planning process. It currently employs over 26 members of staff in Manchester.
