The framework will cover contracts up to £500,000 and be made up of firms in mechanical and electrical engineering, and building alterations.

The work will include refurbishment, modifications, new-build, across a wide range of building types from late 19th century to present and may include teaching, research, laboratory, administration student accommodation, library on the city campus or outlying sites.

The deadline for PQQs is 3 August and the procurement is being run through the university's In-Tend system .
